2026 UN Water Conference, Multi-Stakeholder Preparatory Meeting.


The United Nations Water Conference 2026 will be co-hosted by Senegal and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and will will be held in the UAE from 2-4 December 2026 to support the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 6.
Sustainable Development Goal 6: Billions of people are still living without safely managed water and sanitation. Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6 is to ensure the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all by 2030. Achieving SDG 6 is integral to the success of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which aims to end extreme poverty and protect the planet.
